How do I apply to join Newton Abbot College?

All students from Ivy Education Trust Schools are guaranteed a place at Newton Abbot College Sixth Form if they meet our academic entry requirements. Students from other schools are encouraged and welcome to apply, we offer places to students from a wide catchment every year.

Entry Criteria

A Levels and BTECs

Students must have achieved a minimum of Grade 5 or above in both English Language and Mathematics and Grade 5 (equivalent) in at least 3 other GCSE/Level 2 qualifications. For specific subject requirements, please see our subject pages.

Strong Foundations Programme

There are no formal entry criteria to enrol on one of our Strong Foundations Programme. Students who do not achieve a Pass in English and Maths will able to complete the Strong Foundations Programme which includes English and Maths retake and Work Skills qualifications.
